About Ljungbyholms Vingård

Ljungbyholms Vingård (Ljungbyholm’s Vineyard) is located on a southern slope on the Bjäre peninsula, right between Båstad and Ängelholm. With the ocean only a few kilometers away, the climate is characterized by mild winters and long summers. Our vines thrive in fertile sand and clay soil and produce grapes that we refine into first-class wines and distillates. We grow about ten different varieties of which Solaris, Phönix, Ortega, Riesel and Souvignier Gris are our main green grapes and Rondo, Cabernet Cortis, Cabernet Noir, Bolero and Regent are our most important red varieties. From these we make various white, red and rosé wines that can be enjoyed in wine tastings at the vineyard.

In 2019, we planted our first vines – just under 100 – to be extended the following year by another 2.700 vines. Since then, we have made new plantings every year and now have about 10.000 plants on appx 3.5 hectares. The wine growing is part of an active farming at Ljungbyholm’s estate, which covers a total area of 100 hectares.

At Ljungbyholms Vingård, we welcome visitors all year round to appreciate our wines in a rich and culturally historical environment located in a landscape characterized by magnificent views of rolling fields at the foot of Hallandsåsen.
